I have a Tial wastegate and BOV. Also put 42# injectors in my car with a 255lph walboro fuel pump. I would go with the Racetronix's 255 lph pump if I had to do it all over again, It's just plug and play. Also, on my kit I don't have any mufflers. I don't know if you bought the kit from that guy but, that does look like a good idea. But, Im also not worried about how loud it is, I love the way my sounds now.

If your goint to stay with a stock block... and not push for more then 550rwhp you cant get away with 42lb injectors. I would reccomend if you buying new ones... you might as well get 60lb high res injectors... room for growth. At the minimum you want a Walbro 255 with the "hotwire kit".

You should go back to Manifolds... sell your LT's for extra $. Wrap your exhaust from the manifold to the turbo.

You may want to consider a different cam.... I saw 600RWHP with a 67trim turbo and that equipment. If I were you... Stay below 550RWHP and keep your fuel curve right. You car will last fine and drive 11.5 1/4 miles if your good. If you want to go faster... have the money saved for a new shortblock.

if you just got an STS kit, what car is that in your sig?

The turbo IS the muffler in an STS kit. to add to the input, I too run 42lb inj with racetronix hotwire. Has worked fine so far up to about 500 with no meth. Will be going in for more tuning, so well see how they do.

My car puts down 466 & 475 at the RW. I could have gotten away with 42lbs injectors but I went ahead with 60lbs b/c I may want to up that down the road.

I also have a 255 Walbro and I've heard it by itself is more than sufficient for anything I would do. The only other upgrade I would do for power would be a cam...and I'll be probably close to 510/515 would be my guess. My setup is fine for that easily.

My engine is completely stock other than valve springs. Your cam is probably not ideal for FI and do what longrange said and ditch the LT's and go back to manifolds...plus wrap the exhaust.

I like TIAL products...both wastegate and BOV. Click on my "dyno vid" in my sig and you'll hear what the car sounds like .

Change the cam regardless. Turbos don't like overlap! A TR 224 would do you well. Ditch the long-tubes...

1. They're prone to leaking after time sets in.
2. They dissipate heat like a **** thus causing less efficiency for turbo spool.

You can do it with them on...it's just not "recommended."

What if the LT's are ceramic coated and you heat wrapped them?

It reduces it... but you still have like 6x the surface area to loose heat through. Just ditch them... make a few $ by selling them.. and go with manifolds.

LT's will absolutely kill your spool time, unless you plan on 800+ rwhp, then don't bother.

id leave the cam.ask NicD and some others how his turbo setup did with a big overlap big duration cam did on low boost.Turbos are very kind to camshaft selection and arent that sensative in general to them.sell the longtubes keep the cam get 60# injectors and LQ9/4 heads and throw the STS on and call it done

I custom did my brackets for the rear. For the most part, they expect you to just let part of the I-pipe hold the thing up, as well as one little bracket on the piece that supports the air filter. IMO, that's not enough. I hung brackets, drilled holes, etc, etc.
The placement of my turbo is actually decently higher than most.
