Meth question...
OK, so i have an 01 SS 6 speed. D1SC running 16 psi, forged pistons and rods. kooks 1 7/8 headers and 3 inch header back exhaust. stock cam/heads/intake/TB.
I'm gettin meth injection with my X mas bonus and was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark on how much power i can expect to pick up. perhaps you guys that have added meth.
The way the car sits now it made 567 rwhp and 554 rwtq.
thanks all

The power you pick up is generally due to the greater advance you can run. Mostly the meth adds detonation resistance. You could put 100 octane gas in your car, go to the dyno and play with the advance and get a pretty good indication of what the meth will do for you. It's not really a power adder in itself, although there are some cooling charge side effects that are nice.
But you will be a lot less prone to detonation on those hot summer runs with meth, and I would expect maybe a 20HP gain with tuning, unless your timing is seriously retarded now.

Yeah, the power will not be from the meth itself, it acts as I believe 116 or so octane, and it cools the intake charge SIGNIFICANTLY!
You should see the gains from the advanced timing, and advanced boost settings!!!
Good luck with the kit!

I'm well aware of how it works and what it does. I was just lookin for a few examples.
I believe im running 17.5-18 degrees advance at 16 psi with zero knock right now
