A 1 3/8" expansion plug from auto zone will also work - you need an air tight seal.

I used the 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" It worked well for me. Got it from Orly's for ~2.50$

Tighten with a 10mm socket, good to go.

cool, expansion plug is what I was thinking. I know some guys use a freeze plug.
I was wanting to see some pics of the speed inc. plug but I think I'll just do the plug thing

We keep this plug in stock for $16. It was intended to cap the EGR on certain model LQ9 trucks that had some problems with the system from the factory. So it's a perfect fit with no jerry-rigging a rubber freeze-plug into your intake!

if you buy one from anywhere "EGR block off" all its gonna be is an overpriced freeze plug. That's what I was sent...Go find a freeze plug that'll fit..Mine fit nicely.

go to any auto parts and buy quick steel its like that putty that guy on tv sells, its epoxy with no mixing, just play with it like play-doh till it gets hot and it will harden to a sandable finish in like 5 minutes
i pulled my TB and put tape inside the intake to prevent it from falling in, and then on top shaped it like the hole, after it set and cured, i sanded it with a small dremel to get it to look clean, but it looks good just like that, its like 5 bucks
