Will my setup lope??
Setup is in sig. Heads/intake are in the process of being ported and everything will be installed, and I was just wondering if anyone has run a similar cam. I think this custom grind is really similar to the f13 (130/132 w/ 114 lift). I have been to ls1sounds.com, but is difficult to tell. Does anyone know if this cam will lope decently (assuming good tune) w/ long tubes (no cats) and TDs?

The 230/232 on a 114 will definitely be noticeable, but not dramatic. It will depend on where they set your idle when they tune it as well, the lower the idle the rougher it will sound

The more overlap a cam has the more it will lope.
The stock cam has ~ -30 degrees of overlap. Your 230/232 114 lsa will have 3 degrees of overlap so it will lope more than stock but nothing like the t-rex cams out there that have 25 degrees of overlap.

I have actually tried to keep mine rather mild so that's why I went with a "smaller" cam and 114lsa. See sig for all mods. It does not lope much because the idle is set around 1,000rpms. It would lope a lot more with a lower idle. It is still obviously cammed though. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Check my sig for an idle video. I have an F13 with a 112 on my A4, and it idles at 800 rpms. Depending on how good your tuner is, you may not be able to notice the lope as much. You can kind of hear it in mine, but not as much as you would expect. You want the idle high enough that it doesn't stall due to the overlap, I settled on 800 rpms on mine.

IF IT SOUNDS THAT GOOD I WILL BE ECSTATIC! Wow, that is perfect. not too much lope, but enough to know that it is a bad SOB!! But your lsa is 112, so i am sure mine won't sound quiet as good.
