Default Solid mounts

Hey guys I need some input on this. I am going solid motor mounts on my 98 camaro ls1 automatic car. Do I need to go to a solid tranny mount or what tranny mount do I need? The reason i am going solid engine mounts is cause I am going turbo and dont want to burn up the passenger mount. Thanks guys for any input.

after talking to Steve Spohn i went with a poly mount. he said not to run a solid and my stocker was beat. if i had it to do again i would get a new stock mount but thats just me. i think 90% of the vibrations i have are from the poly tranny mount

He advised not to run a solid trans mount or motor mount?

It's not recommened to run a solid trans mount period. Is the search function down again? There have been a bunch of motor mount threads lately, including mine. I have Spohn solids with a Prothane trans mount and I love it.

I tried to search last night and it kept giving me error. So I should go solid motor mounts and poly tranny mount? Why couldnt you use a solid tranny mount aswell? I have to go solid engine mount cause the stories Ive heard of the passenger mount burning up with this style turbo kit

With all solid mounts you won't have any give in the entire driveline. You want atleast alittle play.
