Just bought the car. Here's some minor problems. Got the rear end serviced and found out that 2 teeth were missing on the ring gear. Got that replaced. The exhaust system has 2 cats and no O2 after the cats. The seller put on an O2 simm. Not Cali legal 
A/C compressor don't turn (might be why there's no belt on it). The serpentine belt was just about shot. Looks like the seller had a dirt war with the engine. 2 bad front tires. Other than that, a '98 SS for $9,500 with 71,xxx miles ain't bad.

The looks isn't bad. Some minor paint problems. Interior is good expect for 2 cuts in the leather seats. Other than that, it's the maintence that it lacks.
