Default Just bought my set of rear tires......

They are Yokohoma AVS Sports 285/35/18. Has anyone ever used this tire before? I figured id go with them since they werent that bad of a deal 350 shipped for 2.

I had a set of black tt2s with those tires. I sold them to darkhorseSS before I got the chance to drive on them. So im sure you could PM him for a review if noone else replies. those tires arent very common.

there decent...could have gone with a sumi for right around the same price, would have been a tad bit softer...however those yoko's arent bad tires for a dd...

Sumi as in sumitomo? I was thinking about getting either their htrz 2 or 3 model tire.

In the near future I was thinking about maybe these for the front 275/40/17

They are decent tires for the price but don't have good traction wet or dry.

may wanna consider these for the size your going with...I did much research and decided to go with them over Sumi's which I have had and were ****...these tires are a much better quality than the sumi's...and Im completely happy with them so far..I felt that these were a much better investment as well...as for the Kumho's I have heard quite a bit of negative about them through the research I did...they have had some problems with their build quality and belts...may wanna research those a lil better if you decide to go that way

I see I see, thank you for the advice. Now these have made the list of tires im thinking about getting. Great deal too. Again thanks for the advice

im telling you.. i dont know if it was my day or what, but i bought some 245 16 riken raptors for my salad shooters and my first time at the track... heatin gthem up decently i pulled 3, 2.0 60 footers, they cost me like $70 a piece

just glad to help out some..i know its hard making a decision and i put it off for two months before buying a cheaper tire since i couldnt afford what i wanted...and im so glad i researched it and went with avon..i was just never happy with my sumi's or kumhos that i have had in the past
