M/T DR''s will break it?
So before summer comes i plan on having LCA's,PHB,SFC's, A 4000 stall an 3.73's installed in my car along with whats in my sig. Now my plan is to burn off the Nitto's i have now at the speed inc open house( they still got some good tread so it outa be a show!) an pick up some M/T DR's for the racing season. Now my question is do you guys think it'll be likely i break my ten bolt with these mods and tires? It will mostly see street racing and maybe the track a few times. Also what rpm do you reccomend i leave from on the street? Any info or opinions are really appreciated.

When I first got the 17" ET radials, my stock Auburn & 3.73s bit the dust from a 5 mph roll...Not real sure if it wasn't going any way.
With my new 10 bolt stuff I've ran 11.20s (on a small dry shot) & 11.60s-11.70s NA, nothing too deep into the 1.6x 60' times though. My current converter doesn't hit very hard & everything is fine with the rear right now.
I've been thinking about going to a Vig 3600-3800 the 10 bolt is one of my concerns.

In an auto you should be fine, although your gears won't help keeping the 10-bolt together. I ran my blue TA (400 RWHP) with a stalled auto on ET streets several times at the track with zero issues. I'll be running the white TA this weekend, it makes more power (430 RWHP, should be 440 before the track) and will be on a lighter wheel but still ET streets, I'll let you know how it holds up

A friend of mine runs his H/C 4000 stall A4 car on stock ten bolt to low 1.6's on ET street radials at the track. Rear end has held up in his car to more than 30 passes. An auto car is much more forgiving on the rear end than a 6 speed car.

On a M6 car if you had a Line Loc what if you were holding the line lock and had the clutch at the sweet spot to kind of load the drivetrain a little while you kept the revs up for the launch? I am not sure if that makes sence but since you are on a 10 bolt you won't be side stepping the clutch at 6k so if you left hard but not through the roof would that work? I was thinking about that today
