Default help with clutch problems

This all started when i tryed to put the car in reverse after leaving a bank. It wouldnt go into reverse. I finally got it into 1st with enough force. 5 minutes later while driving on the highway, i tried to shift into 3rd and it wouldnt let me. It wouldnt let me go into any gear what so ever. I tried putting it into 1st with the car off and then starting it. It starts up fine and once on, it wont let me go into any other gear. It looks like the clutch doesnt disengage once engaged. Anybody know what causes this? Should i bleed the system? I checked the fluid under the hood and it was fine. (I know for a fact i didnt burn the clutch)

You have air in the system from beating on the car.. Easy fix. I had a LS1 WS6 do that to me once. Not a big deal.

It mite also be that the trans fliud is low. I found this out when my tail shaft seal was leaking it was a pain to get in gear. Come to find out that the trans fluid help it slide into gear better. Hope that helps

Low on fluid in the holding tank or the o-Ring is bad where the braid line meets the slave cylinder. Also make sure the quick connect is connected all the way

razor...I am kind of amazed that no one has mentioned the fact that you may be boiling the fluid. These cars are notorious for doing this as a result of the hydraulic lines passing so near the headers. As the fluid boils it aerates...thus causing air in the lines. I suggest flushing the fluid and refilling with a higher boiling point fluid. You should also make sure that the hydraulic lines are wrapped with a good heat resistent wrap. Let me know if you have any other issues and we can go from there in regards to further trouble-shooting.

Whenever you have problems going into reverse, try shifting in 1st gear then go to reverse and it should slide right in. It sounds like you have a hydraulic problem.
