las vegas members, i'm thinking about moving there
I am thinking about moving to vegas, I have been there for work and pleasure a ton of times and love it, however I am curious to know a few things first.
- how is the lsx scene, how are the performance shops? I'll continue to buy parts from speed inc, but will need a tuner/dyno
- when buying a house, do any houses actually have yards or is everything packed tight (i noticed houses are about 100k cheaper in vegas then in IL where I am from but the yards look small)
- anyone know of jobs or companies for 3D designers/industrial designers for consumer products or casino games? (i have a background in casino game design and consumer product design using solidworks, mangament level)
- what are the ghetto areas to stay away from?
thanks guys!

You can also check out lvcfo.org, some ex-lvfbodyers split off after a bunch of drama and now we have our own meetings and outings. But like everyone else is saying, henderson, SW and West sides of town are probably the best. North Las Vegas, if you're far enough North, is fine...just have to go a ways. LEP is a good shop, but if you arent made of money have 1320 (Jon) work on your car and have Jeremy (ZombieSS) tune it. I, and a lot of others, have been doing that for years.
