It would have been best to change it before you put it away. But i'd say change it soon

You should be OK. Oil is usually good for a year or so. My dad's '94 vette gets changed once every spring because it only gets driven about 1,000 miles a year. No problems with it and the oil looks great. I would start changing it in the spring though.

I live in lower PA and changed it prior to winter. I do drive it somewhat over the winter given the road is clear of salt. I find crank condensation requires changing it in the spring. The moisture never gets burnt off. One reason my oil catch can fills with white (oil/H2O mix) over winter.

I would change it.

I've noticed that too, lately the oil in my catch can has some whitish streaks in it. My car sat most of the winter too, except for warming it up every few weeks. I'll be changing the oil soon anyway.

You might want to consider some Oil Stabalizers Kinda like the ones that you can use for your Fuel. That helps keep the mostuire level low and also helps lubricate the engine better at a cold start. Just stop at any auto parts store like Carquest, Napa, or Oreilly's and they have all that you might need.

I was thinking about running a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer and 4 quarts of regular 5W30 for my next oil change. First I'm going to see how Castrol GTX high mileage 5W30 does.

Also, if you search enough you will probably find that the going opinion is it is better to not run it at all unless you are going to drive it. To get all the moisture out of the system.

I let mine sit until needed during winter. Just my $0.02
