Default Bigger stall tuning issues

This converter is starting to be pretty frustrating. At first it would lock up great under 40mph and come unlocked on the highway. I went in for a tune now wont lock up untill over 45mph BUT it stays locked on the highway. Fixed one problem but created another.

Next issue is it will not shift, the shift command was lowered 300 rpms. I think ive had it shift 1-2 one time and 2-3 one time.

What could be changed in the tune to help both of these problems? It would help when riding around if I had a better idea what I am talking about.

You must lower both the MPH and RPM tables to get the shift back. More than likley on the lockup the tuner set it to lock at 45 mph. Also If you havent had it done yet raise the TCC duty cycle min and max to there highest setting .

I would find a better tuner. There is no reason your car wouldnt be able to lock @ 40. A quality tuner makes a world of difference.

And the shifting thing, are you sure the tranny is good? More than likely its in the tune also.

I have the same verter and no problem at all once I got it tuned.

Tranny is stock, but I never had any problems with it before. It was mentioned if I was still having problems adding a corvette servo? Not sure what that will do tho

basically how much pressure is applied to lock. You should have it set at 98 or 100%.

this may help--->https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...tcc+cycle+duty

I had issues with mine when I first put the converter in with a stock transmission. Same type of things with converter locking then unlocking.

Never got it fixed. Ended up getting a new transmission because other one was acting up. Weird enough, with the same tuning as on the stock trans it locks up everytime and stays locked with the new one.
