TSP MS3 & PRC 2.5 5.3 results
Well I finally took the car out to the track and was very pleased with the results. First Ill give a run-down of my mods:
MS3
PRC Stage 2.5 5.3's
PT4000
4.10 gears.
26x11.5x15 ET streets
I gave my father the first pass as he helped out with the project and wanted him to enjoy it. He ran 12.2 @ 115 with a 1.73 60ft. I was pretty annoyed when i saw this so I jumped in and made a pass. The result was 11.56 @118 with a 1.65 60ft! I was thrilled, as this is a very fast time for Las Vegas Motor Speedway (3000ft DA) with a h/c car. The car doesnt even have much weight taken out yet so Im pretty sure with a 92/92 and some Jenny Craig I can put it in the 10's! The only bad part of the night was that on the next pass it appeared the tranny lost line pressure and wouldnt work very well- it also threw a tps code for who knows what reason.
Anyway, thanks to TSP for making a great product available to the public at such an affordable price.

Are you still using the 10bolt and 4l60e? I have almost the exact same setup as you except I have a fast 90 intake and tb. I was also wondering if you have any suspension upgrades.

No suspension upgrades at this time. The tranny and rear are also both stock, though it should be noted that the tranny is about toast. Once I get an aftermarket rear I plan on upgrading the suspension. Right now i would rather spin than break.
