anyone ever switch out ls1 heads for stock 5.3s?

Default anyone ever switch out ls1 heads for stock 5.3s?

just curious...i know the runners are 200cc and 70cc the chamber is smaller the only thing that i worry about is the smaller intake valve....my heads are the 806 98 castings....im pretty sure i would have to gain somthing.....

i took my car eadsapart to do heads ported 317sial messn a financnfortunatly im in a financial mess..and cant afford to do the 317s the way i wanted...."bigger cam machine work"...blah blah...my wifes boss is a cheap *** and cut all his employees pay so not as much play money..

my choices
bolt the 317s on 230cc runners and lose .4 compression

bolt on the stock 5.3s with maybe a light port

or put the 806 castings back on...

the engine has a small vhp cam and a 150 shot with all your basuic bolt ons

i dont know what to do...im stumped

ive got close to 3ohrs on the 317s im tired of hearing the die grinder...
idk would they flow worse than the 806 heads

I'll swap you my spare set of 241s with valves and springs around 60k on them for your 5.3s. My engine already has a set of 241s. I had bought a spare incase my cam didnt clear haha.
