Okay, quick cam help
Okay, sorry if I come off as a complete dummy, but thought i would ask
Mark (predator-z) recommended this cam and went with thunder racing to get it done for me. 2 weeks go by and it arrives w00t w00t. well i had the cam sitting in the box un-opened, said what the hell and opened it. remember the cam i ordered,
Comp LS1 Custom Camshaft
230/230 .612/.592 111LSA + 2
3016R/3725R HR 111+2
First thing I notice on the box is this sticker
Than I see at the edge of the box, close to my specs except the INT is .613 and the EXH is .591
Inside the box is The Cam Lift Report
Took some pictures of what they put on the end of the cam.
I will call Thunder tomorrow and see if this is normal. I'm just confused by the different numbers. Maybe when they custom grind a cam they can only get close to the actual? If someone knows already let me know. Was going to put it in soon but don't want to if this is wrong.

The only thing I would be concerned enough to verify is whether the +2 advance IS ground in or not. Generally a custom grind is based off some software, calculation, or magical trunk monkey that gives specs for the combo. Usually the custom grind will be a TINY bit different due to actual lobes used.

yeah my lift was exactly the same... 1 tho is nothing to complain over and i wouldnt worry about the duration either...still wouldnt hurt to degree it...i wouldnt just throw it in...

It don't look like there is advance in that cam, the Ist is intake (ATDC), the 2nd is exhaust (BTDC). They're both at 111.1, 111.3 from TDC. That to me is too much error for my taste.
