Default Does anyone have a used G.M vette filter/reg that I can try?

I keep on blowing aftermarket filter/regs and want to try a G.M filter instead, but I want to try one and see if it blows up before I go and buy a brand new one.
Thanks.

everything is in the right spot with no kinks or obstructions.I am buying the regulators at partsource and they can't handle a performance pump.

I know of guys running 1200hp aeroquip pumps on the WIX filters. I have a hard time believing the filter is at fault. Again, whats your setup?

Jay Rod,

I run a wix on my setup. I started it today for the first time, and have had no issues. There has to be an issue with the return...

The return line is flowing fine. All of the fuel that the pump is moving is going through the return and back to the tank and no psi up to the rail.I have put a ball valve on the return so I can build enough pressure at the rail.I have the filter hooked up as follows.3/8 male IN
3/8 female OUT
5/16 return.
I truly think that the partsource filter is of poor quality and I want to try a different brand.I just want to make sure that is the problem before I spend even more money.
Thanks.

That sounds like a red flag right there...

I put a regulator on it instead.I am sure a G.M filter would have worked but if it didn't I would have been out another $70.
I bought an adjustable fpr and the car runs like a champ.

It sounds you had the lines swapped on the end of the filter with two fittings if you were using a 99-07 C5 filter. If you had the return on the inlet and vice versa that could happen. Or just faulty filters but that would be an oddball.

Good you get it working with a different setup.
