what am i doing wrong?
ok guys here the deal iv had high hope for my car and now that iv been to the track, dyno and just driveing around im kinda disappointed with it, not to bad but just not what i thought it would be, hear is the setup
2000 camaro z28
p1sc 6rib
epp blower cam
epp fmic
forged bottom end
60 lbs inj
stock 6.0 heads
vic jr
intake elbow
pacesetter long tubes
ORY
magnaflow
tune(great bu the way)
3800 stall
built A4
stock rear end with 3.08s
now from what i have read on here the car should be bad *** but it just seems like it laking, car went 11.70@120 and made 500/495 on the dyno(well did 450/405 but the dyno has been proved to show 10-13% lower numbers the most dynojets)
the seat of the pants dyno is great but the number just dont seem to be as good as others that iv seen on here, so what do yall think did i just have my goals set to hi? or what?? i wanted to see a 10.99 withthe car and its a long way from that.
so what can i do?

You should be disapointed, that's a lot of work to run mid 11s. I bet there is more in it. How much boost are you running? How was your 60'? What is your race weight? You might be able to just change your blower pulley and put on better suspension/bigger tires and get in the 10s.

Upgrade to 8 rib F1A and 12-14 psi and you'll be much happier

i think once u get some more suspension under the car ,maybe a better gear suited to what u are running probably around a 3.73,a little weight reduction.its possible u might hit your goal.it should def get u closer than u are now.other than that like the others have said time to upgrade the head unit and push some more boost through the motor.

Ricky....your car is performing right where it should be on the current combo. 6PSI corresponds correctly to your current HP level. 1LB of boost adds around 20-22HP. You have the same heads (LQ9) and +1 cubic inch displacement compared to my 5PSI turbo car. We're putting out nearly identical HP. Nothing wrong w/ the engine or how its performing on the given boost level.
So, in my $0.02 heres your problem:
You have a mostly stock suspension car with 3.08 gears. A swap to 3.73's will shave upwards of 1/2 second off the 1/4 mile times alone. That and the suspension are why you're running such a high trap speeds vs 1/4 times. At 120mph the car can obviously hit the 10sec zone.....except you're not putting the curent power to good use. Also, between the forged engine, current fuel system + FMIC, and the built trans you could safely run 10PSI .
I give you 3 Choices:
Option #: The easiest way to go 10's is up the gear ratio and tune the suspension to cut sub 2.0 60' times.
Option #2: Install a smaller pulley to increase the boost....but you'll still be running 11's if you can't put it to the pavement!
Option #3: Put the car on a major diet. Guessing it's at least 3600lbs with all the options + stereo.
My $0.02....go with Option #1. I'm not in the process of installing a 9" rear in my car + slicks for nothing

I make 370 on the mustang dyno and run 11.30's. If you want to run numbers at the drag strip you need to set the car up for that. The 3.08 gears are killing you. Get some good shocks(if you haven't already) on there to transfer some weight. Don't know what your sixty foot times are but with your power mid 1.5's should not be that hard to get. What RPM are you going through the traps at??

Not to be a dick..
But six years ago I had a 100% stock engined fully loaded 2000 Z28, P1SC, hacked tuning with a HPP3 and MAF translator, 38lb injectors, ST3500 converter and ALL the emissions parts intact along with MAC headers WITH cats. Stock 3.23 rear with 16" ET streets on stock wheels. Absolutely no weight reduction at all, jack and spare were even in the car. Ran 11.30-11.40s @ 123 and I drove it every day. That was 476rwhp on a dynojet with the trans locked.
Seeing the big restriction in your setup is the blower you really need to spin the crap out of it or find a D1SC and upgrade to an 8 rib. But in the meantime you could work on your 60 foot some and try to be more aggressive with the tune, you will have a hard time hurting anything with a P1SC and a 6 rib..
