Question help! can i port my subthump dual 12 box??

hey guys i seen a pic on there site and there was a pic of a posted box like mine. the box has 1cft of air space per sub so is that to small to post? any one have a ported one? subs are memphis pr's

What air-space ported do they require minus basket?

no way you'll be able to port properly using two subs in that box

Are you going for like max SPL? Reason I ask is because if I had my two FI's in their sealed box (2 cubes) in the back of my TA it would be unbearable. Maybe a sub/amp change would be better?

the subs are new pr's and the amp is a memphis belle thats about 1200 new retail so i dont think its the amp.and it was just a general question im not having any problems i just miss my ported box.

not enough air space, id want at least 1.75 for each 12.

idk what your subs like though

You now have 1cuft of airspace per sub. Remember that if you add a port, you will need to substrate its displacement from the available airspace. You can easily see how 1cuft per sub turns into .6 cuft per sub very quickly. There's no way in hell you can properly port that box.

To the OP...
Talk to subthump.
I had the same idea and they said they could make me a custom box for my TA.
Ever though about a single 12" or 15" ported in the box? That would be killer!
Mostly what they wanted to do is have me remove the T-top holders so that they could make a box deep and wide enough to accommodate the extra cubic feet needed for the tuned ported box.

The box you posted looks to be two 10"s.
What size sub are you looking for and how many?
