Default Lost 5 MPH in the 1/4 Any Ideas?

Ok heres the scoop.

I have a 01 with ARE Stage 2 heads and Cam 224 228 114 LSA. Last year I went 11.74 at 117mph with a 1.64 60ft. This year my best run was 11.97 @ 113 with a 1.62 60ft.

Where could that 4mph of gone.

Last year I dynoed at 380hp with a 10.9 AFR... 29 degrees timing I then sent my box back to Ed Wright so he could correct it. When I got the box back was when I made the 11.74 pass. I know what he did helped me because I picked up 4 tenths in the 1/4. I never had it back on the dyno until This years re-tune.

This year I went to rapid for a re tune (to find the lost 4mph). We tried to get a baseline run but the AFR ratio was so lean Mickey wouldn't make a full pass. He was scared he'd blow it up. We pulled off the Ed Wright programming and tuned it with LS1 Edit. I'm at 12.8 to 13.0 AFR across the entire RPM range Max HP was at 26.5 degrees total timing so we set it there. Dynoed at only 386hp though.

Any ideas anyone. The motor has only 2500 miles on it. Is there any way the valves could of came out of adjustment? Any ideas what to check.

Everything looks good on EFI Live. There is no Knock Retard tps is 99 to 100%.

I'm also looking for any ideas to Improve my times further. I am considering a A4 with a stall The car is currently a M6.

Please Help!!
Rob

What was the weather like when you made that other run??? You will pick that 4mph back up in the fall.

If you are serious about a swap, let me know. I am seriously thinking about swapping to a M6 this winter.

The weather is better this year than last. It definatly not weather related. I am talking about all year not just one outing I have been chasing this problem since April and it was very cool then. All last year I was 117 to 118 mph all this year 113 to 114.

I am serious about a swap but I'm going to buy a new trans and TC. I already have the console pedals dipstick tube and shifter. I'm going to buy the wiring harness I found on here and have the pcm flashed to an A4. I will probably do it all this winter.

I do have a ram VDS 910 setup with billet steel flywheel and a M6 I will probably be selling though.

Check your fuel pressure. When my pump went bad I lost almost 7mph. Put a guage on it and check idle pressure and wot pressure.
