Default What should I look into before I do a cam?

So I'm planning on buying a 2000 C5 this coming week. All it has is the zip-tie airbox mod, and a borla xr-1 rear section exhaust.
I'd like it to be a cam/nitrous car, However I'd like to know what bolt ons I should do BEFORE I do a cam? I'm figuring a Magic Stick 4 cam and a 150 shot.
I assume a lid, headers, and a full-exhaust?
What else? What should I do with the valvetrain, etc?

Any help is appreciated
