Teaser pics of new shoes!! ADR M Sport
Just took delivery today. 18x9.5 ADR M Sport wheels in hyperblack finish. Offset is 35 mm.
The lip is about 2.25" on all four wheels.
Didn't get a staggered set since I still want to run 275s up front.
Some people claim that though the wheels are sold as 9.5 " wide, they are actually 10". Here's photographic proof that they are indeed only 9.5" wide. Those people are probably measuring width from lip to lip. It's a pity ADR doesn't offer a wider size.
Rear tires came in yesterday. Used Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars 295/35ZR18. They appear to be in great condition with 6/32" of tread left. Scored them off ebay for under $200 including shipping.
These tires are wide! I just hope they fit without too much of a struggle. I ordered them after seeing another TA on here with the same wheels wrapped in 295/35R18 Kumhos. I wonder if the Kumhos are as wide or slightly smaller??

I was thinking of going with those rims couple months back. I thought they only came in 18x9s so I didn't..
post pics when you get them on.
Saw a nbm TA with them and it looked real good.

Jeep Junkie, I Love your car. One of my favorite F-body's!! That hardtop adds a nice touch to the overall look of the car. Your car is the reason i am doing a color change on mine. Oh yeah, those wheels are going to look sweet on your car.

Thanks for the compliments reaper95!
I ordered them from an ebay seller, eliteswholesale. Here's a link to the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=160239372302
I didn't go through ebay though, so I saved a bit of money on the transaction. Infernos Wheels has them even cheaper but they make up for it by charging $150 for shipping.
I test fitted one of the rear wheels today, didn't drive on it, but I think they will rub on the edge of wheel arch. I am starting a new thread with pics to get opinions on it: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...79#post9512779

I was going to get these before I got my ZO7s, but they only came in 18x9 and the lug pattern was 5x120 and not 5x120.65. The 5x120 will fit, but it's not the best idea to MAKE them go on.

I had the same concerns when I was geting these wheels but it turns out that the bolt pattern is 5x120.65mm (5x4.75") so they fit perfectly. I aksed the seller if I would need hub rings but I was told that the bolt pattern is spot on so hub rings are not required.

How much skinnier on the tire width do you think you'd need to make it so you didn't have roll the fender?

well I wouldn't change the wheel width at all since 9.5" isn't that big a wheel for the rear anyway. I think I could get away with the 295 tire if the offset was 45mm as opposed to 35mm. It would tuck the wheel in 10mm and that would probably give me a fair bit more room to play with. On the other hand, I think a 275 tire on the 35mm offset rim would work too. Keep in mind that my car is lowered and that exacerbates the rubbing issue. The way it sits right now, I risk tire-to-fender contact pretty much every time the suspension compresses. Check my other thread for pics - you'll have to scroll up for the link.

I actually like the way the tire sits almost flush with the top of the wheel arch so I wouldn't change the offset. The thought of rolling the fender lip doesn't bother me too much other than concern about how the 14 year old paint will hold up to flexing. I might have to touch up that whole area if the paint cracks.

the tires you are running are those the run flats ? if so that is one of the most heavy tires made . i had some on some y2ks and they were a good price used but the weight of them and the rim was just too much for me . good tire though since it will save your rims if you have a tire failure of some kind .

On a side note, I used some Dunlop Sport SP01 runflats (DSST as Dunlop calls them). Absolute junk!! Noisy like a damn mud terrain and heavy as ****. Totally worthless tire, not worth keeping even if you get them free.
