Well, I posted here a while back asking black or medium Quasar blue. I decided on the blue but when I told my painter, he showed me this other blue he had and compared side by side slates and I picked this other blue. Looks great. These pics are just bare paint, no clear.

Jams and bottom of hood got painted today! This is just the paint, no clear.

Considering that this color wasn't a stock option on these cars I'd say yeah it is a total body color swap.

It's a friend doing it in exchange for building him a motor. The black should get done today. Hopefully will have more pics tonight.

Hard to tell what it looks like without clear, right now it kind of looks like a bass boat.

lol, ya with the flash of the camera that close it brings out the metallic a lot.

yeah it does look like a bass boat right now. i actually just got done with a motorcycle that had a similar color and i could believe the amount of metallic. anyways looks good so far. the only thing i would have done differently is take off the bumpers. post pics when its done blue always looks awesome on these lt1 cars.

Yeah that looks like some crazy metal flake! looks similar to med quasar, just more flake!
