what all is involved in stroking the motor out to 383ci? Is it just a rotating assy?

You dont absolutely have to have a FAST intake/tb but you will leave power on the table.

and you would almost definately need injectors

wut # injectors would work good with the setup. I also have my mind set on the typhoon, either the 85 or 96.

I would do 42# injectors. (That way if you go bigger, you can be ready) FAST 92 intake/TB, and TSP does a great forged rotating assy for any size from 347 to 454 lsx blocks. That cam will be awesome for that setup too, but you'll want to talk to whoever does your motor and get pistons that will clear the valve lift. (obviously) and With alot of air moving thru the motor, 1-7/8" headers will take you far. Maybe has 450whp potential. What cc heads you wanna run? compression ratio?

I didn't think that the LS1 could be brought out to a 383? I thought you could only hone them to a 347? Please correct me if I am wrong cuz I'm in the same boat as Nasty. I don't wanna have to buy a new engine if I can just buy the rotating assembly and have it bored and stroked.

The block doesnt need to be bored, it should just be inspected carefully for any damage and honed. I'm just curious to see how much is involved besides motorwork, i wanna kno bout fuel, wiring, etc. changes i need to make if any??!!!
