Default RX7 LS1 Gauge Cluster issue

Apparently the RX7 LS1 i'm looking at has a non-working gauge cluster. Says he checked all the signals from the wires and had the gauge cluster repaired. Still no properly working gauge cluster. He says that's quite sure that this is a power/ground issue. What steps would you suggest to rectify this problem?

We'll need to know what year the chassis and driveline is. You also might have better luck searching for an answer over at v8rx7forum.com since that's where you'll find more chassis specific information.

http://members.tripod.com/~grannys/manuals.htm

There are the swap manuals that Granny's made. Just pick the 3rd gen one for your motor and find the gauges section.

It got a bit more touch up after that, I could not find a tach to mount in the dash like a would have liked to so I just reused the stocker..... I also rewired the stock fuel sending unit to be used in this setup.... worked pretty darn good!
