Default OEM C6 Wheels NOT FITTING with common eBay spacer... Wheel gurus chime in!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...id=p2759.l1259

So i purchased ^^^^Those spacers on eBay from a reputable member (probably an ls1 guy too!) for THESE OEM C6 Rims I got on eBay as well:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...250064144&rd=1

I get to the tire shop today and the spacers WONT accept the rim...the offset is still barely off. Here I am ready to ride out clean for the 4th..and I find out the spacers I purchased aren't correct (I think...that's why I'm making this post)

Can any wheel gurus help me out here? I tried my best to research what I needed to do and still fell short...kind of down here =/

you bought wheel spacers that change the bolt pattern from 5.475 to a 5 inch bolt pattern,, you simply bought the wrong spacers. you need the spacers that bolt onto a 5.475 inch pattern and have a 5.475 inch pattern for the wheel to bolt onto. your spacers bolt onto a 5.475 pattern but have a 5 inch pattern for the wheels to bolt to.

You see here's the deal:

Everyone on here says you need 1.25 spacers....I bought 1.25 spacers and ended up with wheels that didnt fit. Is it because I bought 1.25 spacers with the wrong bolt pattern?

im not familiar with OEM C6 wheel fitment, but if everyone says you need 1.25 spacers, then those arent what you need. They are the right bolt pattern though. The ones you had before were the wrong bolt pattern, so the wheel wouldnt go on. If you get the 1.5 spacers from the link you posted, the wheels will go on, they will just stick out a 1/4'' too much

Can someone PLEASE link me to exactly what I need.

I'm sorry for being such a pest but since I've already made a mistake I'm completely UNSURE of what I need...even with you guys "pointing me" a certain direction.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...link:middle:us

THAT'S what I'm about to buy.... Just wanna verify it's correct!

Be careful when buying spacers, you definitely don't want to skimp out on quality. I know it's tempting to just buy the cheap ones, but there's a lot riding on those little pieces of aluminum when you think about it.
From past experience I'll forward on some words of wisdom......If you have the extra $$$, buy spacers that are at a minimum "hub centric" and if possible "wheel centric." That way you're not relying on just your wheel studs to center the spacer and/or wheel (which is impossible), plus you'll drastically cut down on any possible vibration issues. Theres a TON of centrifugal force on those little spacers when you get cruising at highway speeds.
Hub centric means the spacers have a recess machined into them to center properly on your wheel hub.
Wheel centric means the spacers are machined with a small protrusion to center on your wheels.
I don't have any experience w/ spacers on Fbody's but I did successfully run 2.5" spacers on my Chevy Blazer (for proper fitment of Corvette C5 wheels) for 3+ years. I originally purchased the cheapest spacers I could find and regretted it immediately the second I drove it. The vibration was horrible from 60mph+. I got rid of the cheap spacers in lieu of some custom made ones (both hub/wheel centric). They cost twice what the original cheap ones did but the vibration was gone. Well worth it in my opinion, especially being a daily driven vehicle.
Hope some of this info helps!
