Default It Finaly Runs

After 7 months of working on the car it finaly started up. on the first try. The smoke is the assembly lube that coated the car. Here are the specs of the car.

355 with Forged pistons 11.3:1 compression ratio.
Lightly Ported Trickflow Heads.
Comp XFI280 Cam 230/236 .574/.570
Pacesetter Longtubes into an ORY into a Hooker Catback.
Custom Tune from AZTPI.

I adjusted the valves so it doesnt sound like a sewing machine anymore so what needs to be done in the tuning to reduce some of the stalling.

Still needs to be tuned but the valves have been adjusted.

well i just noticed you are in the phoenix area. if it still needs a tune i would reccomend Sean at Top Gear MotorSports his number is 480-461-0240, he uses tuner cat and did an awesome job tunning my car after i got my cam installed. Tell him Ben sent you, and its 200$ BTW.

I called him earlier and he recommended a pcmforless tune. I was told by a couple other people to go to AZTPI so thats where I had the base tune done and then it will be tuned further on Friday. Does anyone know what would cause it to idle for about 40 seconds then the idle goes down until it stalls out?

didnt think about that, but does kinda make sense as you are ODBI i always forget that my car is ODBII being a 96. but he did tune my car with tuner cat and i wonder if that only works on OBDII LT1 cars

Well I found another little problem with the car being the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line came off.
