Anyone running it yet?

Any opinions? Better than the LM-1 or just different?

dual channel could be useful if you were more of a pro tuner because you could see bank to bank issues i can't see it being useful for daily ops or on the side tuning

Summit has them on sale for $399. Just ordered one tonight.

Looks like it does everything as the LM1, but as the RPM converter built in.

4 bills is less than the LM1 and the RPM converter.

Plus it doubles as a scan tool/data logger. it will record and plot OBD-II information, with or without the O2 sensor installed.

Now I really need to get my car running.

Got the dual channel unit last week. It's pretty nice. Helluva lot easier to install than an LC1. Found my LC's were all phucked up.

I've heard the same thing about the display but what other issues are you having with it? Is it tough to navigate thru the menu? Or is it the scan tool portion that you're having issues with? I've got a LM-1 w/RPM converter that has been used once and I've been thinking about switching over to this one. Any pictures of the display with the backlight on?

The biggest bummer I see with the LM-2 is that if you only bought a single sensore unit and then want a dual you have to buy a whole new unit. They do not have a provision for a second sensor I guess they have to add another circuit board inside to add a second sensor.

Its hard to navigate the obd 2 stuff is difficult to set up. The unit has to be powered on to connect it to you computer, otherwise it wont establish communication. The only way to power it up is through the cig lighter, they don't give you a house outlet so i have to use my laptop for that where is i would rather be in my house looking at my logs. as far as playing back the data on the computer and graphing it its just way over complected and setting up what is what is a pain. If i just took a month to learn all this stuff i would feel a lot better but its just hard to even navigate the owners manual. At this point i wish i would have just got the lc1 and mounted the gauge in my a-piller. The extra stuff this has to offer isn't worth the time i have to spend to learn it or trying to get it to work right. JMO

Edit: after reading this i realized i didn't list anything i did like about the lm2. So i will take some pics and post up what i did like.

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/mt.htm

I bought the Fast Dual Wideband because the LM2 allows you to replay the logs on its own screen. You do have to buy the rpm logginer sensor separate though.
