Question anyone running descreened maf with ram air?

i been searching on the threads to see if anyone is running a descreened mass air sensor with the ram air hood. i know everyone says the stocker is good for 450+hp but i would like to see if theres a gain in hp. as of right now i have a lid, ported s3 tb, catback, and debaffled and sealed ram air hood. anybody out there got this setup?

It makes the car run a little lean on top because the incoming air is not flowing right on the resitors. Your car will run better with it on. Oh doooooooo noooooooot port it.

I have heard that a descreened maf is good for a whopping 3 horsepower and so is the egr mod for the 98-00 guys. I have both done to my car.

I would leave the MAF screen alone - Removing it won't give you any real gains and it gives you an extra protective screen for your air intake.
