Default Finally got to play with the Tropi-care Swirl Cutter Plus

on a 2004 Escalade.

before:

After:

deWalt and a green Edge pad @ 1600

Meg's #83 on the right, Tropi-Care Swirl Cutter Plus on the left.

this is after the initial buff and 50/50 wipe down.. nothing else on the paint:

this is the end result. after follow up with Meg's # 80 and then Menzerna PO106FF, topped off with Meg's #21 2.0

So far, I really like the Tropi-care SCP. I have a Black F150 King Ranch to ddo this weekend, and I am going to play with it some more, and try to document a little bit more (if the weather co-operates)

I have been pleased with what I have seen of it so far, and I will definately continue to play with it.

this may just be enough convincing for me to pick some of this up, my car needs some major cleaning/detailing pretty soon.

Good **** on the swirls, but maybe a bit off topic,

How different is Meguiars no. 21 from no. 20, especially that 2.0?

Wait a sec... Isn't Meguiars no. 21 2.0 a sealant/wax?

His post didn't indicate otherwise.

To answer your earlier question, the "2.0" version of #21 simply has a polymer booster added to it to increase beading.

My post was not a statement that he indicated otherwise... It was a search for clarification with a question mark.

You answered it... Thanks.

I just ordered mine today. I am going to try the swirl cutter on my 04 T4R sport. Its jet black and swirls show up even with a good wax job .

Your order has been shipped to you today. You will find a sample of our new Swirl Cutter Plus for your own evaluation. It is markedly more effective for use on more stubborn scratches and blemishes compared to our regular Swirl Cutter. Feel free to contact me with any questions once you begin.

Doug:

Exceptional as usual.

holy **** that stuff is amazing. tell me exactly what products you bought in order to accomplish that. im about to spend some money on some car care products instead of using off brand wax. i have a black car with the typical swirls. that looks like it did an amazing job.
