Proudly Introducing Tick Performance's Flagship LSx Camshaft: The Polluter
In a day and time when it seems like the entire world is focused on economical transportation and "going green", Tick Performance is... well... not. Call us old fashioned, but we still like making a lot of tire-shredding horsepower and making a lot of unadulterated noise. We designed this cam to be one of the biggest, nastiest, lopiest bumpsticks that you can slide into a stock bottom end - but with one important feature that competitor cams leave out: TORQUE.
For years, us cam-only LSx guys have been making big horsepower with big camshafts, but most left alot to be desired in the torque department. Determined to change that, we here at Tick Performance teamed up with GM Expert tuner Alvin Anderson of PCMForLess to design a camshaft that will offer the big horsepower numbers that big cams provide in these cars, but also make the big TORQUE that makes driving these heavy F-Bodies much easier and makes them feel much more responsive.
The specs? .24x/.24x (.61x/.61x) on a 110 or 112LSA
The results?
This isn't a car that is set up with all kinds of dyno tricks and optimizations to get the best number, this is an EXTREMELY basic bolt-on 2001 Camaro with a 6spd and our Polluter cam installed. These numbers are with an LS6 intake. These numbers are with a backyard true dual exhaust setup with SLP's old-design headers. These numbers are with bone stock heads that have never been off of the car and of course a bone stock, untouched bottom end. These results are from the Polluter on a 112LSA and the smoothing is set to zero because there is a spike in the graph when we set it to 5.
Imagine what would happen if we put a FAST 92mm Setup on it? Imagine what would happen if we put a far better exhaust on it? Imagine what would happen if we sprayed it?
Oh wait - this is Tick Performance! Of course we sprayed it.
The above results are with a Zex kit installed with the 125hp pills. The Polluter on a 112LSA absolutely loves nitrous!
For you all motor guys, the Polluter is available on a 110LSA, as well. We'll be posting results up soon for it! The 110LSA Polluter will require flycutting, so if you're going cam-only, the 112LSA is definitely your best bet. Although we suggest checking piston-to-valve clearance during every cam install, we haven't had any issues using the 112LSA version in non-flycut stock bottom end with stock heads & gaskets.
Since we know many of you guys are on a tight budget, we're keeping the pricing low for you: for a limited time, you can buy The Polluter for $364.99.
Our Standard Cam Kit includes the Polluter Camshaft, PRC Dual Valvesprings (rated for .660 lift), titanium retainers, spring seats, seals and hardened chromemoly 7.400" pushrods. It is $699.99.
Our Deluxe Cam Kit includes everything in our standard kit with the addition of an LS2 Timing Chain and a ported/blueprinted LS6 Oil Pump. Choose the deluxe kit if you're wanting everything needed to get the job done RIGHT. It is $879.99.
As always, if you spend more than $500 with us, we'll gladly give you FREE shipping. Click the link below to visit our online store and read more about our new Polluter cam:

Thank you for the kind words guys!
The car 2001 Camaro with your basic bolt ons: pulley, headers, lid, LS6 intake, ported TB, etc. It is a 6spd and the numbers are through the stock 10 bolt. No track times yet - the customer is ordering his beefed up rear this week. After that, we'll take it to the track and squeeze every last tenth out of it.
The Polluter would be perfect in a GTO - that torque would really help move such a heavy car out of the hole in a hurry.

What are the intake and exhaust clearances on a cam only LS1?
Results are good, but 92/92 is needed to make it breathe, 85mm Maf as well. Very nice on a 110, with more bolt ons has 440+ rwhp potential
As it sits on that graph, it is choked

I've already been trying to convince the customer to buy a fast 92 setup.

Damn loving this cam...and after Joey's great info in PM's for the AR Headers, I might have to get my LT's and now a cam from you all!!! Good work fellas! Let's see those track times as soon as your customer makes it out there to run it!
