thats a small budget for headers. it seams just to leave you with used shorties. and at this time of day most people are asleep so a response time wont be as fast as your hope it would be.

Yeah, for 300 your limiting yourself to pretty much new cheap shorties or a good pair of used shorties.

Bring your limit up to 400 and your getting into used midlength with y pipe range. For 500 you could pickup a new set of LTs and a ORY pipe, or a new set of midlengths (cat or no cat).

your going to want something coated or go stainless. the black painted one will rust faster then the coated ones which will still rust.

Pickup a pair of Pacesetter uncoated LT1 LT headers (something like $260.00). Good quality and cant beat the price.

Just the Pacesetters, I dont think you will find any LTs for under $300 unless you go with the uncoated pacesetters or some type of other used header (bidding on ebay of course).

The above would be a good deal.

Shorties would work, but would more than likely be a bottleneck in your setup.

Mids or shorties can be made to mate up to a TD exhaust, just take it to any local exhaust shop. They can weld up extensions for cheap.

long tubes will give you the most power over shortys and mids. with long tubes you will have a little lower ground clearance over the shortys and mids. ive had all three and like the long tubes myself.
