Nice, that clip must be old since the car had LT1 front clip. Chicago has some quick *** cars though

Good eye, thats Tony Palemero (sp), he used to post as JucinGTA on CZ28.com, he had a 10 second LT1 Z28, stock short block, h/c and a ton of gas. He ran one of the guys on this sites black LS1 Formula, Dustin Bassi (sp)?) was the guys name I want to say who was driving it but it actually owned by Bird Of prey (?) on here. It was like the first episode of Pinks, think they did it at Cedar falls.

p.s

I wanna see Chris car hit a 7 and yours or Tony's click some 8.6s

Yeah I guess Im still pretty sharp in my old age...

As far as running 8.6's we are actually going to be doing some stuff and making moves while the entire chassis/suspension and tranny is fresh... So I expect once the good weather comes into northern cali around october we'll be making a push for high 8's..... We'll see what another stage and around 400 total hp worth of nitrous does to 10.60's....

I might be investing soon in some full slicks.. MT ET Drag 10.5W's.... don't know how far a big nitrous car can push the radials without sacraficing traction or power down low... I am not running the car in any radial classes nor do I drive it on the street (that the cops know of) so really a radial on this car is just "because I felt like it"..... But on two units I might need the W tire....

Good call on the slicks. I was wondering why you were still running radials in the first place.

Well the thought was that I wanted a nice stable tire to get used to running the car again with...... don't get me wrong the MT Drag radials are a SICK tire but they require a lot of suspension test n tune. once you get it right you'll be good.... but when you get it wrong it gets VERY wrong.... you blow a radial off there is zero recovery. A slick will spin and still hook 5 feet out......

There are many that have gone 1.3x on a MT radial...... but i'm not sure how many of those are dedicated big plate/fogger nitrous cars leaving on a brake on a big unit.... turbo/supercharged cars hit tires VERY differently.... Tom Kempf and the ohio boys and them are all running turbos to cut their vicious low 60 foot times on radials.... I'll bet if those same cars were big nitrous deals you wouldn't see them running radials.... or they wouldn't be going 1.2x on them.... don't get me wrong though, a radial can hook. If you're running a radial ONLY class then the whole class is saddled with the same limitation and must adjust..... tire control becomes as important as clutch setup, timing retard ramps, staged/progressive, etc..... I don't run in a class so i can run whateva I feel like running....

I hear ya, I know radials can hook and lots of fast passes have been made on them. It's just a lot easier with slicks.

Yeah I heard a lot of blah blah blah, but didn't see much racing action. Boring. I don't care which side is running what, so long as it makes for a good show.

What happened to two people walking up with a grin on their face and like two questions are exchanged. "You sprayin? or How much boost?" then they both walk back to their cars and line em up.

Hmm maybe its because I never raced for money, but normally I just go want to run? Yes, thanks sweet! No, oh well keep on looking for someone to run. Then get back after run shoot the **** with the person I just ran, and the world is good.

Does it have a lot of racing on it? If so do you think its worth looking up?
