Help, got a stupid problem!!
Ok, I sold my FAST intake and 90mm NW TB and bought an LS6 intake and TB. I swapped them out yesterday and put the TB on today. Now my throttle cable is about 1/2in too short. Everything was fine with the FAST setup. Ive checked all three cables and all look fine. Ive pulled the clips off the two cables to make sure my problem wasnt where they can be adjusted. Ive checked the bracket on the side of the intake that holds the cable, Its as far foward as it can go. Im baffled as to whats happening. You cant even pull enough slack out of the cable to get it to work. I hooked it up anyways so I could pull the car out of the garage to keep the fumes out of the house and the idle is at 3000rpm with the cable like it is. Anyone got any suggestions on what to look for? Like I said all was fine before earlier this week when I had the FAST setup still on there.
Thanks

What year is your car? There are 2 style throttle bodies for the 4th gen LS1 (98-99 and 2000 and up) cars. One has a small cam on the linkage and the other has a large cam. They each require that year specific throttle cable to function correctly.
