Comp Pro mag Woes?

Comp Pro mag Woes?
Hey guys. I have the comp pro mag 1.6 rockers with 135# springs and I have noticed a slight tick coming fom the passenger side. Did not notice it till I got a new tune lastweek. Sounds like a slight exhaust leak from that side of the car when you rev it slightly from 1100-1800or so rpm, then goes away. With the hood popped and engine running, sounds like a sewing machine at idle, which is norm. When I rev it up to 1500 and let off, you hear a few ticks that sound out of synch with the rest of the valve train. Then goes quiet at idle. If I take it up past 2000, the tick goes away. Oil pressure is 40psi or better at idle. No vacum leaks, but I do have a couple band clamps leaking slightly. I am almost positive it's not what Im hearing. Theres about 5000mi on the valvetrain. Any suggestions?

I run more seat pressure and have several times as many miles on my ProMagnums, no problem.
I would pull the valvecovers and look for anything obvious but would also try and fix those exhaust leaks so you can be 100% certain those are not what you hear and then see if it is still happening.

Mine are quiet, you can't here them with the hood closed. I just noticed a slight ticking at low rpm's which most likely an exhaust leak. Im prolly just being overly cautious, but hey it's better than lettin **** go! Im going to pull the valvecovers and check everything to safe!

Update! I fixed my exhaust leaks, a that damn tick is still there. Not real loud, but if you pop the hood and rev it up a lil you here a tick tick tick. Then it goes away. Seems to be the #4 rocker on the exhaust side. I pulled the valve cover, every thing looks great. The rollers look good, no sighn of wear. IDK? Should I readjust them, if so how? Thanks!

maybe swap that rocker with another one somewhere else on the motor just to be sure the noise follows it. Obviously this would allow you to inspect it really well too.
I thought the ProMagnums were rebuildable? If they are anyone have feedback on rebuilding them? I know some things claim rebuildable but in the end it is not worthwhile.
