Oil Cooler
#4
To see if it is a factory SLP SS option, check the end of the passenger door for the SLP options sticker. It will say: OPTIONAL OIL COOLER PACKAGE with the other SS options listed. That's what my 1996 SS has to show the oil cooler option.

To be honest...I bought the car a month ago, drove it 6 hours home and tore it apart and started modding it...now im wondering, is it a "rare" car or would it be okay to completely modify everything that made it special? I see SS Camaro's selling for a lot more then what I paid for mine?

Would't be too hard to give it the cooler option Get a truck oil filter adapter from, say, a 1990 Suburban (I had one, so I know they had them, at least as an option) and throw it on yours Then just run some lines up. Not sure if our stock radiators have dual cooler line provisions, but if you have an M6 then the tranny lines wouldn't be used and you could pipe it in there
