I believe that's the air brake activating.

its the tires....the rollers have a surface that is very rough to help the tires from spinning. its like some aggressive mud tires on the street, they make noise. gotta remember these cars do 120-150 mph on the dyno.

I was surprised with how loud it got. I believe it is the sound of the tires contacting the rollers that makes the sound. Just like the guy above me said.

we have a dynojet in our shop. we dont view it like everyone else does. Its like another screw driver in the toolbox. We are spoiled by it...

The sound you prolly hear at the end is most likely the dyno brakes. Its a little different than the tire noise.

Post a link to a video.

Turbo's will do this, as they are getting rid of a ton of air in the system.

On my dynojet, we have the eddycurrent, so the brakes only work from 10 mph and below, above that is eddy braking, so it is very smooth.

Tires make some noise, but I've never thought of it being loud like your mention (but then again, my dyno fans are 10 hp motors, so they make some serious noise. And i've done thousands of pulls, and forget a lot.
