idk about painting it on your paint. When i took it off my rims to re-do one (I went to a drive through car wash and the tracks that guides your tire rubbed aganst the rim and peeled off the plasti .) it had residue left on the rims. Almost like when you take a sticker off a window you can see a little glue residue on the window it was like that on my rim, but i couldnt get it off with soap and water. I wanted to paint the roof of the car with it but after seeing that i decided not too.

Looks good but on a really good idea for plasti dip...

One stone gets in there and makes a gash in the plastidip and ur pretty much screwed lol...even a big mosquito if you hit one and it gets stuck deep in the paint will do it too..I did my bowtie n plasti dip and had this problem, had to redo it once, havent had a problem since though.

As for the removal, not sure how it will work on the car and paint, but I didnt have any residue or anything leftover when I used my rims. I pressure washed it off though.

When doing it make sure you do very light coats...If its thick in some areas it will dry looking like it has a lot of pin ******...It will take several tries to get it right lol

double thumbs up on the light layers i did 7 very very light coats on my rims. On the 5th coat was when the chrome didnt show through anymore then i put 2 more light coats. I really wanna try clear coating it because like model 16 said if something scratches it a little your screwed.
