getting inspected, will hp tuners screw anything up?
so i installed a hogan hi-flow downpipe and cat......i got the catalyst system low efficiency code for the oxygen sensor so i just went into hp tuners and uncheck ses enable in the dtc menu. as far as i know this wont enable my car to go into speed density mode? will this cause any problems getting inspected? im not certain what they do when they inspect a car, but im hoping this wont throw any flags up.

ya you better reset it to stock. tuner can void warranty. but all you have to do is flash it to stock and after it passes inspection, re-tune it back to how you have it

There are laws to prevent a dealer from voiding a warranty.
You will be fine, just turn off all the Bank 1 Sensor 2 codes and you will be fine. I Can also give you the list to turn off if needed.

so taz, they typically dont browse your pcm when they do an inspection? i just turned off the one code and its been fine for about a week. it seemed to throw the code when the temperatures dipped down into the 40s here last week.

As far as inspection goes you should be fine. They're mainly looking at things like, brakes, tires, lights, etc. Anything that would be a safety concern or make the car not legal to be driven on the street. Stuff like not having a cat too.
