Default Ever have a starter stick?

I was trying to finish some things on my 95, using the stock starter i had when i bought it, it stuck trying to turn over and just kept turning over till i disconnected the battery, pretty funny but i was wondering if i was the only one with a LT1 starter that has done this, i did not have money for another so i used the T5 starter off my 89 RS, works great.

Sounds like you have an electrical issue in the Starter.

in the solinoid...

yes this isnt common but happens....just get a new one....sometimes when the solinoid is old it breaks up and doesnt allow your car to stop turning over...you can shut your car off, take your key out and it will still do it

yeah it happened to me. I had just put my longtubes on, along with a new starter. I fired her up, and the starter just kept going...i didnt notice it until i had got some where and shut the car off. I had to disconnect the battery as well. Waited a while and re started the car...no problems since.

Well, i just stuck with the 89 RS starter, it is doing fine, i need o tune it to idle, it is close, idled about 20 seconds but the old *** fuel was nasty as hell, i drained allot and added about 5 gallons of 93.
