Go to ebay and search for "Thepartladi". You can get a genuine acdelco/delphi unit from her for cheaper than anywhere else. There are cheaper ones out there but they are junk, she sells legit genuine units. I and many others are running the genuine delco/delphi Opti's from her successfully so I would highly recommend.

I am getting a MSD opti tomorrow morning. Baxter's has it in stock an hour from my house! Cheaper than Summit before shipping, WTF! I hope it is solid. I talked with a MSD tech today for 20 min. about the problems I have read and he says they are all taken care of. The price still makes me sick, but I can't wait for thepartsladi and GM wants $525 for a AC/Delco. I am confident, or at least trying to justify, that the MSD will if nothing else seal out water better (1 seal versus 2) becuase it is going on a 4x4 that will probably expose the opti to water. Good luck!

To the OP (and anyone who doesn't know) STAY CLEAR OF ACCEL!! Stick with Delco unless you have the money for the MSD.

+1 never heard anything good about accel. Doesn't summit just put their name on accel's opti? I THINK that's what I heard....

OP i'm pretty sure my cousin spent over $1k on an opti swap...Labor+opti, but that shop has always been a bit pricey..as you can tell haha.

The GM Performance Parts unit is just a stock delco unit, you might get a GM Performance Parts sticker with it, so it may be worth it. The Vented Delco/Delphi was only 255$ shipped from the partsladi off e-bay.
