Default high voltage tps

i swapped a 52 tb for a 58 and now i hae tps high voltage code .. done search an dont really know if i should replace tps or if i should just slot it and adjust it.. got any info guys

you take a reading of the middle wire on the tps, and it should be .67 and you will have to slot the tps.

You just take a drill bit and make the holes oval, so it's adjustable. At closed, it should be .54-.67v (mines .56) and at WOT should be over 4v , ideally in the area of 4.2v but 4.5v would be great. (that's what the Casper Electronics TPS voltage modifiers do)

What brand TB did you switch to? Holley throttle bodies have been known to over rotate. I had to make a throttle stop for mine.

Holley TB as indicated will over rotate past WOT.

You want less than 4.8 Volts at WOT>

it is a bbk 58 i am mechanicly inclined but when it come to electrical i am kinda dumb altough i understand basic fi

Take your intake elbow off and open the throttle body blades all the way by hand. See if they go past flat.

everything is normal there should i turn the key on and what do i set the ohms meter to .. and when they say slot do i slot or oval the holes
