Cut the spark plug socket down and use a wrench, on the end of the socket.

1,2,3,4,5,7 from the top using a 5/8" sparkplug socket and a 19mm wrench to turn it.
6,8 from underneith using the same tools, but with the starter unbolted so I can get my fat arms around it.

And a swear jar :-p

^x2 that works very well and u can even use a very thin spark plug socket and a 3" extension with a ratchet it will work too.....and of course the wrench and removing the starter isnt a must but will work....

I have a wrench like this, http://www.machinemart.co.uk/images/.../040211158.jpg, but not as long. It works wonders for doing plugs on a fbody. What I do is put the spark plug socket on the spark plug. Then put on the extension (like a 3" if needed), and then I pop the wrench on. Some are easier from the bottom. The only real trick, is patience and determination, lol.

No **** lol.

I feel there not that hard to do, just need practice, i do keep hearing 6-8 as being a PITA, hell there the easiest i think, the bitch one is #2, #4 is the next hardest, but other then that, there not too bad, but thats me, of coarse having small hands/arms help too.

I use a regular spark plug socket and ratchet. Granted I have a variety of extensions and swivels, plus a lift. But I can change the plugs in about 40 minutes with the headers.

i do 1, 3, 5, 7 from under in one stroke. thats fastest fore me. 6 and 8 i also get from underneath.

i can even use a normal snap-on spark plug socket and rachet for the formula with long tubes.

make sure to use antiseize and boot protector on the plugs. you will thank yourself later

however i do have a cheap spark plug socket that i cut down for the iroc

Try doing them with no AIR, no EGR, no heater hoses, no heater core, no AC lines, and with LT's....wait, it's easy.

Make sure they know what they are doing. I once payed a shop to change my plugs (like 5 years ago when I knew nothing) and wouldn't you know it, no one, but two spark plugs blew out of the head...odd huh?!
