Default Need help: Engine on stand leaks oil from..

I have my engine out and just put it on an engine stand. I drained the oil and turned the engine upside down. About 2-3 ounces of oil came out of the #7 exhaust port.

What if anything does this mean? The exhaust valve looks to be closed. Engine was running fine when removed. I took it out to change out all the gaskets.

Where is all the oil comming from? Where could it be comming from?

Thanks for any help. THis has me a little worried...

Don't drive your car upside down. What gaskets did you replace? I wouldn't worry if it was running fine before.

Right!

Whats up man I recognize you from SD.org. This is the LT1 out of my 93. Im replacing the rear main seal, and every other engine gasket/seal/o-ring along with cleaning everything that has been oil soaked from the leak.

Also, I was trying to remove the converter and that bitch is not comming off.
What do I do?

Did you remove the 3 bolts that hold the converter to the flexplate?

Are you saying use the flexplate to pull the TC? The engine is on an engine stand, flexplate removed. I tried pulling it strait out just like anyother converter. It moved maybe 1/4" and thats it.

sorry, im an idiot. forgot the engine was on a stand. lol it should just slide straight off the trans like you said with very little effort. there shouldnt be anything holding it back. dont know man...

Does the converter still spin freely by hand on the trans? or is it jammed?

Valve stem seal?

If the exhaust valve isn't fully closed or is leaking, it could be oil entering the intake port when the engine was upside down then migrating to the exhaust valve.
