Default New track times! New best in 1/8th

I went to Eddyville last night. The car ran very consistant yet again. This time I ran On M/T slicks 26x8r15. The car would spin very little if I left at about 1600rpm anything higher the track wouldnt hold. Overall Im pretty happy for as Humid as it was, temperature was in the 70's.

60ft- 1.71
330ft-5.10
1/8th-7.96
mph- 85.93

my previous was was on 255/16 bfg in a lot better air with no track prep:

1.91 60ft
8.12 1/8th
86.5 mph

I have a set of LE2 heads sitting in my living room. But I just can't decide if I want to put them on this engine or not.

Nice time's but it's not that close to an 11 sec pass. Low 7.60s or better would be 11s

You can't accurately convert 1/8 mile times to 1/4 mile times. It all depends on each person's setup. Some cars pick up on the other end, others don't.

Congrats to the OP none the less. Impressive times

1/8 mile ET X 1.57 = 1/4 ET

The above is fairly accurate, especially on NA setups.

Yeah my mph has always been pretty low. The car is still completely stock suspension other then the hotchkis adj phb. I really need to get some sfc's on this thing for sure. And lca's and a torque arm. Im going to run this motor this year. Then go with a forged 350ci for next year for nitrous.

The engine thats in the car now is just Hyperuectic speed pro pistons, stock crank, stock rods (with stock rod bolts (makes me nervous) and unfortunatly is an unballanced rotating assembly. It was my first engine I ever built and honestly wasn't expecting it to last this long.
