Default MSD or Mallory??

I need to get a Msd 6al or mallory 6al and dont know which one to get?? I see specials on the MSD unit but I seen the mallory dont need the pills. Any recommendation??? This is for a stroked out N/A motor.

MSD 6al2 does not use pills IIRC.

motor built for nitrous but I sold it so for now I will get what I need and have everything ready before I squeeze some giggle juice.

MSD digital 6 plus, I just picked up one and love it!!!!!!!!! Has dials not pills, has a built in 2-step and timing retard for spray and a tach output!!!!!!

There having specials on the msd 6al so im more leaning on that and getting the harness with it so no cutting or splicing to do.

I got the Mallory Hyfire 6. Digital display and control, no pills or anything. You can also purchase the easy install kit that has the plug adapters for no splitting in the wiring.

Seems like the 685 box has those features for quite a bit less. MSD is still good stuff though.

I ran the MSD6AL and worked good for a while, then the harness went to **** and melted the input to my coil. Haven't reconnected since.

I ran the 685 box on my car and a few friends, never had a problem with them, great product with a lot of features for the price.
