Identification time.. what is this?
All kinds of surprises on the new car I'm fixing up. I never messed with fuel pump stuff. I noticed after pulling the carpet that somebody has cut the hole for fuel pump access. I took a peek and here's what I see :
What is supposed to be hooked to the one I circled? And while we're at it, which lines are what? Thanks.

im fairly sure that one runs to the canister by the filler neck i think its the charcoal canister . the only reason i know is i forgot to connect mine and i got to pull the tank again when im done putting the motor in.

Well, the car is mine but still new to me. Had a 96 SS prior to this and when I got that it was completely stock. The more and more I explore this car, the more I find out how much it has already been tinkered with. Up to this point there's been alot of screwy things I've fixed and just wanted to make sure this wont ben an issue.
I'm not worried about smelling gas fumes but, is there a real bad hazard leaving that line just sitting there not hooked to anything? Will it being open like that affect the operation of the car in anyway other than emissions stuff? (engine doesn't have evap, egr, air, cats anyway)

if it was me Id cap it. you can get caps for vacuum lines at advanced auto that will fit over that. if you can get one let me know i got a bunch of assorted sizes laying around ill mail one to ya.

one of those is a vent line that runs down to a white vent on the driver side right before the rear axle. its mounted to the same mount as where the brake line connects to the body.
the other two lines run to the engine one is the sending line and the other is a return.
