Default LT1 camaro HID's possible?

Alright, so I want to get some brighter lights for my Z but they are sealed headlights and i'm not really sure what I could do but buy new housings with the lights in them already. I have seen others with HID's or brighter headlights, but if I missed the thread forgive me.

Any help would be amazing.

I doubt that's a real kit for $199. Sounds like it's just bulbs that go in the factory housing without any projectors.

Awesome, ty guys very much. I am looking to do this conversion solely on the fact I have trouble seeing at night without a brighter bulb, my Eclipse had a set of like 50$ lights we got, and was great, but I got flashed for it all the time....(funny part was the high's we're brighter) I'll do some searching and do what I can for now, lows and fogs. Probably not much of a need for highs unless your out in the country with deer and stuff like I am.

No the SpeedInc HID kit is the real deal I brought one and it's the entire setup with the housings, bulbs and ballasts and let me tell you OH WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!! I'll never go back to halogen or anything else I got the 6000k for lows next I'm going to do 8000k for the highs and 10000k for the fogs.

^^ no 10k bulbs please. Those look pink! Just cause it has a higher Kelvin temp. DOES NOT MEAN THERE BRIGHTER. 3.5-5k are the brightest. 8ks look too blue and ricerish, UNLESS you get 55w ballasts.

Look at DDMtuning for them.

The Speed Inc kit uses stock halogen projector housings. They just do the dirty work of sealing HID bulbs in there so you don't have to.

I want bright but I also want distance, I read an article a few years back about brighter lighting, (I'm sure there better by now) Don't remember if there were showing examples of HID or LED or what but anyway, they had two cars side by side with some reflectors down a road, one car had ? and the other ? but the one lighting was very bright but had no distance while the other was not as bright but went further. My 3 cell Mag light had a halogen bulb, it was bright and when you turn it to the spot light position I could reach the top of trees, I then switched to an LED bulb, it was real bright, kinda a bluish tint, but the spotlight effect was gone so??
