Default GMPP / SLP Cold air intake on a 93 w/ no maf sensor?

I've currently got a K&N FIPK on the car, and it comes with the plastic MAF delete tube. I'm considering switching over to a GMPP/SLP dual cold air intake, pretty much just for looks....

How would it fit on my 93 though since there is no MAF sensor? Do they sell the tube to match the intake or something that would look similar?

They should make '93 specific CAI's. If not, you could always find a rubber hose that would work at any hardware store.

Hey:

GMPP & SLP V6 F Body twin tube CAI pre 98 and V8 93 are the same. A 6-7"long x 3 3/4" to 3 7/8" Stainless straight tube insert can be used as well as a plastic or rubber tube connector to adapt a 94-97 V8 SLP/GMPP CAI for a F body to fit a 93 F body.

How is it a POS? I want one just because everything else in the engine bay is polished, including the intake elbow, and figured it would look nice. That K&N clashes with my red/polished engine something fierce lol

You have a polished or black slp one?

I have a black one. I wish I could have found an aluminum one used but I missed out and ended up with the stainless powder coated thing. I hate it. On my old 02 ram I had a nice aluminum intake that was polished. I loved that thing. It is such a PITA to get the filters on and off of the SLP. Not to mention with a MAF and aluminum elbow it's a bit tight and nothing quiet fits where it should but with out a MAF it would fit better. I always dread if I have to take the elbow off it is a royal PITA to get it back in.

Ahh I see. Yeah I've got a brand new K&N, the GMPP looks like it would clear the ABS block much better but I could be wrong.
