Question Sup w/ these Ebay headers? Worth it or go Kooks?

I've searched and read up on many a post but still unsure if it's worth the $$. My FLP's are 11yrs old and have served well, just surface rust for the most part...so it's time to put the up for sale in a few wks or junk em.

Was looking into 1 7/8 headers but don't see any primaries that big so a stepped 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" w/ 3.5' collectors will have to do and a true custom y (talking oval bends here...2 1/2" x 4) and using V-band clamps. Only way to go as far as I'm concerned w/ V-bands as it doesn't require tearing down the whole exhaust to do work underneath the car.

So are they really worth it and which ones exactly? Speed daddy's? Down in Fl, need SS so they'll be the last set of headers I'll own. Thanks for the opinions....

Im gonna be running the OBX ones. Stepped 1.875 w 3.5 collectors. I have no doubt Kooks are higher quality, but for the insane price difference Ill make the eBay ones work.

Contrary to what people in here think not all headers are created equal. Theres a reason people spend big $$ on headers....

Do you already have these headers? Is there a link to them? I'd like to see these as I didn't think you could get primaries in that size other than 2" and that's got to be a beast w/ header bolts etc.

If you want good headers at a good price get the TSP ones, I agree that eBay is good for the price, but Kooks is higher quality.

Just found the obx headers. Nice price, just unsure of the hassle. May just have to go for it, as kooks are damn pricey, I can build y-pipe and get OBX for under the price of kooks easy. Plug access though may be a different story though.

I went with the LPPs (same as eBay headers) and for half the price they are a steal, if you're capable of working around the well documented and easily-fixed issues with them.

Yeah, but LPP is out of stock at the moment. I've considered them as well.

All eBay headers are based on the same jig as LPPs.

And this is why Kooks is at the top of the list. LOL! No fitiment issues from all the people that own them. Sometimes, you do get what you pay for.
