I would go .020 over. More wont help power wise and the less you go the more room you have if you ever need to rebore it down the road.

hey mike... I bet if you painted your hood the 9's would have come... that gel coat is rough and added resistance from surface tension slowed you down too much, plus the fiberglass has a lot of static electricity that builds up due to the dust striking it, kind of like a helicopter blade... and it's throwing off your ECU, all that static creates a bubble of EMI throwing everything off...

why the hell did I paint mine then? I'm just doing everything backwards!!!

Thinking about it I am going to take the bead lock off of my prostars, already got rid of the inner tube, maybe even run half the wheel studs, just gotta alternate from three on one side to two on the other every other pass! eliminiating all this unnecessary weight, gonna run hard!!!

You can shave some serious weight by removing the doors, hood, hatch front fenders, rear qtr panels,t-tops,dash,seats ,crAsh bars and spare tire... Wonder how the hp Vs weight would work out then ... Might be in godly lsx territory then ?

you know what?! can you grind everything down so it's feather weight stuff? the rods can look like swiss cheese, super light and super strong cus it's forged. be sure to use a harbor freight drill press though, do it right and not half assed. also all you really need are the front and rear main bearings, the rest are just slowing the crank down from all that power!
